Leaving

Greener pasture that’s what I kept on telling myself and to others every time they ask my reason for leaving the company. Yes, you heard it right, I’m leaving and I only got 4 days, that includes 2 rest days,  left before I will have my final goodbye. It’s not easy to leave the company which made me into what I am now. The feeling of excitement is always present but the fact that you will be in a different environment, different people, new job makes me sober. No, I’m not scared, it’s just I’m still so attach that I’m still drowned and flooded to all negative thoughts about leaving. I hate to leave all the people I have loved and cared so much in the said company but the choice was made. I realized that if you really want to succeed in every journey you wanted to take, you should put away all the negative thoughts in your mind about venturing new ideas.  Welcome new things, fresh knowledge, new people. Deal every experience as one way ticket to your success. One day, you will just realize that you have made the right decisions.

Weeeee.. So happy!!!.. Undeniably happy!!.. 

Our guard on shift just gave me his KFC NBA tumbler in exchange of the tumbler that should be given by my teammate. Gihatag man ang usa ka tumblr sa janitor...hihi.. 

Anyway, just a random thought, what I like the most about working here is no one discriminates. I mean, every working place got tons of employees who discriminate in their own means. Our company doesn't know the word discrimination, we treat everyone working here whether they are janitor, guard or pantry sellers as equal individuals. 

NOTE: The tumbler was bought about 30 minutes ago. whahah..

lost moment

Do you also experience being lost at a certain point wherein all you could do is stare at one corner in your room? If you are going to ask me, yes, a lot of times, I mean, not just a lot of time,, but most of the time. I always have this dejavu slash lost moment every now and then. I even asked myself about it but I could not even find a definite answer to the question I kept on asking. Why stress my not so good mind (LOL) for things as such. It's just normal. Isn't it? Lemme, describe to you what this so called lost moment thingy I'm referring to.

Scenario 1:
Shared very interesting topic with my boyfriend about anything under the sun when all of a sudden, he stopped and immediately tried to catch my attention to keep my focus. I mean, there I was, stared at one corner or just looked something randomly and got lost in a moment. I didn't mean it of course. I had just this crazy thingy in my brain that triggers especially, if the conversation is kinda too long and too interesting. Let me correct you on what you are thinking there, I'm still listening though but my mind is not that focus to the person who's talking in front of me.

Scenario 2:
Had a little chitchat with my best buddy at Jollibee, IT Park and all of a sudden he flicked his fingers in front of my face because he thought I'm not listening to him anymore because of the lost moment look. The "tanga mode".

When will I'm going to change,, it's kinda destructing to those people who is having a good conversation with me and just in a split of second, the interest fades. Hahayz..

Is it good to bluff? Is it good to joke?

It feels good when you bluff but when the timing is wrong, it's the worst thing you'll ever do in your life. Too many issues have been created because of making joke to other people. It affects everyone.. everything..

It goes the same way with one of my friend at work. He's in hospital right now. One of my officemate just made fun of him that he's having an HIV though in fact, he was only admitted in the hospital because of severe pneumonia if I'm not mistaken. Making this kind of joke lead to many speculations in the office. One of the Admins just commented that its possible for my friend to be advised to resign. BIG L.. It started with a joke.. And the recipient of the joke didn't know a thing at all. He's blinded by the fact that some people is already making fun of the situation and the latest talk of the town which is the HIV thingy. It is just coincident, but then jokes could create a very big impact in one's life. He's already the talk in the office. Gossips are everywhere.

The Last Airbender

 

The Last Airbender is scheduled to be released on July 2, 2010 according to my source. It is one of the upcoming movie of the year that most movie fanatic are waiting. It is an action-adventure fantasy film based on the anime television series: Avatar: The Last Airbender. I got addicted to the series myself and been waiting for quite a long time for it to become a movie and be shown in the big screen whether in its traditional two-dimentional projector or in 3d.

The film stars Noah Ringer as Aang, a reluctant hero who prefers adventure over his job as the Avatar. Aang and his friends, Katara and Sokka, journey to the North Pole to find a Waterbending master to teach Aang and Katara the secrets of the craft. At the same time, Fire Lord Ozai, the current Fire Lord of the Fire Nation, is waging a seemingly endless war against the Earth Kingdom, the Water Tribes, and the already vanquished Air Nomads.

Something to be proud..........

One of the talent I have never revealed to my officemates is drawing. I used to join poster making contests during my primary years and highschool days during school programs and I always bring home the bacon. I didn't have much idea not until now, that I still have this wonderful gift from God. I used to boast about it few years back but then right now, I'm just keeping it in the box and wish that nobody will ever know about it. IBAON NALANG sa LIMOT. But there was this event at work that I volunteered myself to do the drawing, though it was just a draft that I need to do and some coloring, but it's a pain in the ass you know. WHY? because it seem that nobody in the team wanted to do it soonest time as possible. who wanted to do some stuff during last minute by the way.  Not me...my team does. we always do things at the last minute. hahahaha.. But i love my teammates. We are just too lazy and busy busyhan that's why we always reach to that point. BUT anyways, I just wanted to share some of the things that kept me busy last week and had me sick last Monday because of having no sleeps. It's super duper tiring and the moment? It's priceless...

company summer outing 2010 @ cordova reef village resort

Just last Sunday, May 16, 2010 we had our company summer outing at Cordova, Reef. A resort located at the northern part of  Cebu. The theme was Rasta de Mardigra. People at the office were enjoying it though some part of the program was kinda boring. I won't just mention it here for privacy purposes. The location was perfect and it was the biggest and best venue we had so far. Me and my teammates had fun taking pictures of all beautiful sceneries there. The first picture I posted below was our team picture with our banner. Sad to say, Leie was not able to make it because of health problem, she got sick. I was the one who made our banner though. AHHAHA.. Anyway, when the night came, the program got boring and I decided to explore the place. When I went to the pool side, my previous team, Teampura, saw me and forcefully robbed my bag and grabbed my cellphone so that they could throw me in the pool. That's OK however, I didn't bring any extra clothes because I didn't plan to go swimming on that day. I'm just too tired and had no sleep for a week already. But in a flash of second, it happened. I was so wet and went home, causing the taxi seat too much damage. hahaha.. The seat was so wet that I had to hide it. Wew!.. Glad the taxi driver didn't find it what catastrophe I brought inside. EVIL GRIN.. Mamang driver, sorry po, won't happen again. So when I arrived home, I just bid goodnight to my pinalangga and immediately went to sleep. And few moments after that, just realized that I was already in dreamland.. WEW..

diversions in life

I have seen a lot of friends and colleagues who just had a detour in one's job nowadays. Just today, that  I found out that my lunch partner for almost a year just applied for a technical job in our sister company located at the UK as well. It's not that he's going to UK, he will just be deployed in the same floor but to a different account. I once applied for the said position few months back, however, it was denied because of my attendance issue. Just another wasted opportunity. SAD. Anyhow, I'm wishing that my dearest friend will be accepted because he is one of the best in our current team and a consistent top agent. I won't deny the fact that I will be sad once it happen, but then, opportunity is already knocking on his doorstep and he only need to acknowledge it. I mean, opportunity will come only once, better grab it before its too late. Another detour and a greener pasture lies ahead for my friend. I am not thinking that my future has been doomed because of the once that had happened. I know that in the near future, I will going to have a better life and a very good job in a prestigious company. Let's just hope for the better and may God bless all my friends who answers the call of what we called opportunity.

something new under the sun...

As what you can see I just changed my template. A look which is very elegant to look and somewhat like a business type website. I like its clean look and the new ambiance of my blog. Hopefully, I will last long with having this kind of template. Let's just see what's next in the box... :)

P.S .. 

I have no internet connection at home nowadays, so all my posts are stuck up in my laptop and waiting for it to be published online. I'm just too lazy to bring it in the office or to any place where it has wifi or a net connection..

I couldn't think of anything good right now. As if i'm floating in the air. I'm done thinking.. I'm done thinking.. BIG SIGH.. Still my mind is busy refreshing what had happened earlier today. I don't know if it was somewhat funny or somewhat disappointing. OKay Okay.. The story goes like this.. 

Me, Mama, Ate Peale and Xian just went to Pag-ibig to inquire about assuming the house and for the ownership to be transferred to my name. According to them, mama should pay the monthly first before it will be transferred to me. GRRRRRR.. OKAY i'm kinda pissed off. So, mom and I agreed not to re-assume the house anymore. I'll look for another one instead. GRRRRR. Then after which, I invited them to go with me at Ayala Center to have our lil dinner get together. However, when mom sat down at Hukad (Golden Cowrie) since me and sissie decided to eat there, mom got disappointed and walked out. TSK. I'm so freakin' disappointed. But I found it funny as well. Still, mom don't want to get out from her comfort zone. She don't like Hukad, we knew that. But it was so insulting in my part 'coz it was my treat. Sometimes, I don't understand how my mother brains work. Sometimes she's okay with almost everything but later on, in a split of second, it changes. Due to my disappoint, I just told sissie to continue the order and we ate all the food we ordered, which is supposedly for our beloved mother. HAYZZZZZ..

Date Night

Last Monday, me and my pinalangga just watched another movie entitled Date Night. It was just a normal day and it was just a trip to watch a movie. We decided to watch it because the poster that was posted was somewhat funny. We didn't have any regrets of paying 140/head because we enjoyed the movie from the beginning until the end. Just another action-comedy movie we watched.

How disappointing... 


It was just last night that I found out that Blogspot and Tumblr are blocked in the office. Disappointing in some point but duh, we have to deal the fact that no extra curricular activities such as blogging, agents should do in the working place. I believed that those two sites are now blocked because there are some agents who are really fond of doing extra stuff, rather than focusing on their job. Hell!!.. I'm one of those agents who is kinda affected of the new blocked sites because I do some blogging during my break. There are just agents on the floor that are not considerate enough whether others will be affected or not by the extra stuffs they are doing in the office. Photo editing sites and other external sites are very rampant nowadays in the floor because we don't have an internal editor. Wew!!.. Lesson here: rule is a rule.. it must be followed whether you like it or not besides we are there with the purpose: WORK!!!!

first teambuilding of the year 2010;Bantayan Island

Just about 2 weeks ago we had our teambuilding at Bantayan Island. We stayed at Sugar Beach Resort and we just assembled our tents near the seashore and had rented one room for our belongings. We had fun though it was quite tiring for my teammates because they were not able to sleep because we travelled after the night's work. I was just a bit lucky because I was on sick leave for 2 days and was able to rest before travelling while my teammates didn't.

Bantayan Island itself defines the what we called paradise. For me, the place is oozing and relaxing. With its white sand and long shoreline, who would not enjoy and relax in a place like that. I'm not sure though how much we paid for the room and other things during our stay there, but based on the liquidation of the budget, we only spent a small amount of money.

For only 3000/head you can already enjoy the whole island by all means.

Ceres bus going to Hagnaya = 50/head 
Roro                                    = 150/head terminal fee included

You can set-up a tent for only 150/tent.
If you want to get a room, you can rent at Moby Deck for only 50 pesos.
Or a room in the resort for only 1,500 which is only good for 2.

Food is not a question because the island vendors sell very affordable food items.

For pedicab, from pier to the place where you wanted to stay, it will only cost 25/head.

You can also rent a motorcyle for only 250 only if I'm not mistaken so that you can go everywhere you want in the island.

I don't wish to be everyone's attention nor wanted to catch anyone's attention. I don't need that so called thing. Well, I would just like to clarify some things before I will continue putting something here in my blog because there are some people out there who could not understand a very small detail about something. It doesn't mean that I don't talk much about some part of my life in my blog, that I'm not proud of it. I am actually, its just there are things that you need not to talk about that much. Hope people would understand that and respect whatever is posted here.

relax mode

Wew! just had a beautiful semester. My blog was one of the things I sacrificed for a while to stay my focus on my studies. Guilty. Head shot. Dead. Away. Procrastinating. But despite it all, I'm still kicking and very much alive. The first semester I had prior to the time that I went back to school had just ended and I could feel the excitement within me as I look forward for the summer vacation. It is summer time and outings are in line. At work, our teambuilding is fast approaching. Bantayan here we come!!!!.. I'm very excited since it will be my first time to go to the said place. What a nice treat for a working student like me. It is time to relax and to unwind. What an awesome and wonderful life. I couldn't ask for more...:) 

I will be blogging again. I miss my bloggie. I miss everything about my bloggie and will be working with my main domain soonest time as possible. Ajah!

First post for the year 2010

Another year had ended and a new year has just begun... I would just like this first post for the month of January to be very special. It's a nice start to feel glad and happy in everything you do. For the past years, I've been living in hell and my life was full of heartache. But this year, I will make it a very different from the one I had before. Not until now I realized that my life is worth living for because of all the people surrounding me whether they are good or bad or willing to keep me as me. I would just like to tell every people I know and those whom I have not met yet, that this year is going to be very exciting and memorable. I don't care if some people will disagree with all the thought I have right now. Of course, I, myself will be liable for all the good and bad things that will happen..:) I know, God, the Almighty Father, will help me discern which way to take. I am just praying that everyone will receive all the blessings they deserve to have.
