What makes a man happy...

What makes me happy is being contented with all the things and values that I have right now. Of course everyone of us is searching for happiness but what we do not really know is, happiness is just in front of us.

Nowadays, we cannot deny the fact that we rely our happiness to materials things. Some people in their pursuit to find happiness are spending themselves into financial ruin in an attempt to capture it. But the harder they try, the more it gets away.

Do you really know what makes you happy? Think about it for a moment. Is it your possessions? Is it money? Friends? Love ones? Being successful? Many of us are thinking that we will be happy with all these things. That is the biggest mistake that men ever believed in and failed to realize. Yes, it's true that it is very difficult to explain why we are happy or what makes us happy. But in a long run we will still find it.

Our happiness doesn't rely on the things we have right now, the people surrounding us or even the most expensive thing we have in hand but its something that you cannot count and that is being contented. Being in a state of contentment referred also as peace of mind, regardless the hardships that are going on with our life. The root is contentment.

If you wish to be contented in life and reach the state of happiness then stop comparing your life to anyone or to the possessions that others have. That there are certain happenings in life that you can never change no matter how hard you try so we should quit worrying about it. That is what we called acceptance. It isn't your position that makes us happy it is our disposition.
